What is BBL?

BroadBand Light (BBL)™ is an innovative and powerful aesthetic system that provides dramatic improvements for many skin concerns. BBL can safely and effectively improve visible signs of aging, conditions such as acne, and most other cosmetic skin concerns.

BBL provides intense pulsed light (IPL) at a variety of wavelengths, making multiple treatments available within one system. IPL is a form of concentrated light energy that targets specific cells in the deeper layers of your skin without harming its surface or the surrounding tissues.

Before beginning your Halo treatment, your Shantique Med Spa specialist applies a topical anesthetic to the target area. The Halo system is also equipped with integrated cooling technology so that you won’t experience much discomfort during your procedure. 

You may feel a little heat and prickling during your Halo session. Most patients find these sensations tolerable. You may feel warmth under your skin for up to 30 minutes after your treatment.
